
After a period of training, logistical and material preparations, several young people participating in the "Youth Leaders for a Better Tomorrow" project officially launched on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, eight community projects in four states, under the supervision of the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy.
And these projects are separated across four states, and they're basically: The project " Mezzaouka youths " (Bizerte), the project "Shabab Al-Tahir.. Young People Working" (Sfax), "Assessing Public Spaces in Al-Mahras" (Sfax), "Schools Resisting Corruption" (Jendouba), "Majority Artistic Production" (Kairouan), "Madinaty Kairouan" (Kairouan), "Incubator of Generations" (Kairouan).
The youth leader's work is not limited to the projects mentioned, but there are 28 other projects that will be executed after the fulfillment of all the procedures. The center will attend to accompany the owners of these projects by providing some funding and promoting them to search for other sources.
Mezaouka Project: rescue polluted lake
the lake of Manzel and al Rahmen in Bizerte is suffering from pollution, which has led to a shortage of production and fish wealth and has created health issues and environmental risks for the area. The lake also suffers from a number of problems between sailors and cochlear implant owners, as a result of extensive exploitation and uncontrolled behavior in marine products, in addition to the lack of developmental solutions and plans to address these problems, which created a crisis in the region.
The project also aims to conduct developmental courses on the promotion of development projects through the Social Economic Solidarity Act, to encourage Youth to save the oceanic heritage and to help young sailors who suffer from marginalization and poverty
"Youth Search Youth work " .. youth employment Project
The project aims to develop the skills of 20 young and administrative legal and life skills. The project will act as a medium in the search for 5 partner institutions, internetworking them, and project participants to conduct job interviews with participants to facilitate their integration into the labor market.
"Assessing Public Spaces in Al-Mahras" project
El Mahras area is one of the most important tourist areas in Sfax according to aesthetic and geographic standards (view over the sea), whereas, it suffers from environmental pollutions especially the port, which prompted the Shabab Leader team to adopt the idea of the environmental project and work on its download.
Thus, Youths will work on the rehabilitation of public spaces in terms of environment and beauty, seek investment opportunities in the environmental field, focus containers of different materials, promote model space, and hold a scientific seminar on the environmental aspect of the region.
"Student Against Corruption" project
It is a social and educational project that aims to promote a citizenship culture and combat corruption in schools by supervising the activities of the student in various spaces
These activities include: Periodic cleaning campaigns include the concentration of trailers, sensitive projections, the provision of green areas in and out of school, and the focus of civics clubs on citizenship.
Jendouba State Primary and Secondary School in al Mourouj are the intervention areas.
The " Agaliba Production" project... Addressing school dropout
This project aims to help address the phenomenon of early drop-out of school by connecting with the educational representative in Al-Kairaouan, then diagnosing the problem, accompanying dialog sessions with 10 students who are skipped, and 10 students who are threatened with an interruption in the presence of psychologists, talk sessions with parents, and the educational framework. In a second phase, families and students will be trained in psychological counseling, communication, and integration into school life, and Kairouan province rural areas are considered intervention areas.

This is a step towards evaluating the cultural and tourism heritage of the city of Kairouan by creating an interactive platform that includes a state survey and virtual tourist maps. In addition, we have set up a database and travel agencies to facilitate tourism, thus connecting with artisans and traditional confectioners in order to activate electronic sales and introduce products.
The " Generations Incubator " project...
dispatch Through this project, youth leaders seek to achieve economic and social development in four areas in the province of Kairouan by encouraging those with higher degrees, artisans, and unemployed to launch projects in a variety of fields by forming them in the projects formulation in farming, the semi-medical field, and others. They will then hold two seminars that bring together entrepreneurs with official funding institutions and businessmen in the province of Kairouan.
Be The Change Project
The objectives of this project are to reduce extremism and corruption. This phenomenon will be addressed through the early drop out of school, which is considered by the project's owners as a group that is more responsive to corruption and extremism.
The project is based on integrating drop-outs into vocational training centers. It will be launched by 20 young men and women with the participation of state structures and parents while waiting for further expansion of interest.

The target group is between 16 and 19 years.
the project's implementation phase is the last phase of the "youth leaders for a Better Tomorrow" project, the first of which was launched in late December 2019. The center has 200 young men and women represented by five states: Greater Tunis, Bizerte, Jendouba, Sfax, and Kairouan.
The participants received various training courses on combating corruption and extremism, leadership skills, instilling the values of citizenship and democracy, and project formulation. They also took part in important stages, the most important of which was the launch of the "You are the Good" campaign to collect financial and food donations and distribute them to the needy during the Coronavirus crisis.
And since August 2020, the second part of the Leader's Youth Project has been launched for 200 young men and women in five other states: Sousse, Sidi Bouzid, Medenin, Gabes, Kasserine, while the Center is working on selecting participants.
